What if you could teach leadership as a subject?

Hi Reader,

I’m excited to share something we’ve been working on at Yellow Arrow — a leadership curriculum designed to make it easy for schools to embed leadership education directly into the classroom.

Project Santiago features two units, each planned to run over 12 weeks. Complete lesson plans, videos, and resources are all included — everything teachers need to pick it up and run with confidence.

Our goal? To make it as easy as possible for schools to embed leadership learning, while building a clear pathway so that by Year 12, students feel confident in their leadership skills and thrive in their roles.

🎥 Hear from the Year 9 class at Clonard College who used the curriculum as a leadership elective last year:

I believe the best learning happens when we bring the two together: explicit teaching provides the scaffolding, and student-led experiences give students the confidence to apply it. How is your school...

Hi Reader, We are officially in the second half of the school year. If you're anything like me, you might be wondering where on earth the time has gone! Winter can be a tricky time for motivation, both for teachers and students. It's cold, there are competing priorities in the school calendar and some of the initial buzz and momentum may have fallen away. In this newsletter I will share some helpful resources and ideas designed to spark motivation and help get everyone focused and on track...

The perils of cookie cutter leadership When we think of leaders, we often picture someone confident, outspoken, and ready to take charge. But the truth is, great leadership comes in many forms.
